Federer Beats Nadal for Fifth Straight Wimbledon, Matching Borg

Roger Federer beat Rafael Nadal to become the first player since Bjorn Borg in 1980 to win five straight Wimbledon tennis titles.

Federer, the Swiss world No. 1, defeated the second-seeded Spaniard 7-6 (9-7), 4-6, 7-6 (7-3), 2-6, 6-2 at the All England Club in southwest London today as Borg watched from the royal box on Centre Court.
